About Kimberly Parrow, PhD, LCPC

Dr. Kimberly Parrow is a licensed clinical professional counselor, certified clinical trauma professional, EMDR certified clinician, and level 2 Gottman Method couples therapist. Kim received her doctorate from the Department of Counseling and served as the Moser-McKinney Fellow of the Phyllis J. Washington College of Education & Human Services.  She holds a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, and bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in human and family development. Kim’s research, professional writing, presentations, and professional interests lie at the heart of human interaction “The Relationship”.

Kim has recently completed a textbook for clinical mental health counseling students enrolled in practicum and internship. Slated for release in June 2023, the book aims to guide faculty, supervisors, and students in the practical application of an evidence-based relationship factors model of care.
